Sid Vicious, pseudonimo di Simon John Ritchie (Londra, 10 maggio 1957 – Londra, 2 febbraio 1979), è stato un bassista e cantante britannico, noto per essere stato il membro dei Sex Pistols dal 1977 al 1979. Nonostante una carriera musicale breve e segnata da problemi personali, Vicious è diventato un'icona del movimento punk rock grazie al suo stile di vita anarchico e alla sua immagine provocatoria. Prima di entrare nei Sex Pistols, Vicious era un semplice fan della band e lavorava come commesso in un negozio di dischi. Dopo l'uscita di Glen Matlock dal gruppo, Vicious fu scelto per sostituirlo, pur non avendo alcuna esperienza musicale formale.
