Mark Olson è un musicista e cantautore statunitense, nato nel 1960. Noto per essere stato uno dei fondatori della band folk-rock americana i Jayhawks negli anni '80, ha contribuito a definire il suono indie rock del decennio con album come "Hollywood Town Hall" (1992) e "Tomorrow the Green Grass". Dopo lo scioglimento dei Jayhawks nel 2005, Olson ha intrapreso una carriera solista di successo, pubblicando album come "The Salvation Army" (2006) e "The River's Edge" (2014).
