Havana Brown, real name Angelique Meunier, is an Australian DJ, record producer and singer. Born in Sydney in 1986, she began her musical career at the age of 15 as a disc jockey in underground clubs. In 2007 she signed with the independent label Sweat It Out! and released her first single "What You Got". Throughout her career, Havana Brown has collaborated with artists such as Pitbull, Snoop Dogg and Tiesto. Her tracks are characterized by electronic, pop and dance sounds, often with hip-hop influences. Among her most notable successes are "We Run the Night", "The Boy Who Knew Too Much" and "Like a Boss". Havana Brown is considered one of the key figures in the contemporary Australian music scene.
