Legion of the Damned is a Dutch thrash/death metal band formed in 2004 from the ashes of the group Occult, following the departure of singer Rachel Heyzer. Their songs explore horror themes, occultism, religion, and apocalypse. They recorded the albums *Malevolent Rapture* and *Sons of the Jackal* at Stage One Studio with producer Andy Classen.
