Death From Above 1979 è un duo canadese di musica elettronica rock formatosi a Toronto nel 2001. Composto da Jesse Keeler (basso, tastiere, voce) e Sebastien Grainger (batteria, voce), il gruppo è noto per il suo suono potente e minimalista, caratterizzato da riff di basso martellanti, batteria frenetica e testi taglienti.
