So you're still running from the girls
Just like you did when you were small
They were cruel
Big sister big, big sister strong.
But that's not really what you (??)
Oh, oh, oh
{Chorus}
Don't you want to know
What it would be like
To look the way you feel,
The way you feel inside.
And in this race, it gave a chase
That noone wins, no finish line.
If you get caught, you hold your tail between your knees.
Maybe you say things
That you don't really mean.
{Chorus}
Lying to yourself
Painting pictures of yourself
Did you find
Another place to hide?
So you're still running from the girls
Just like you did when we were kids
They were mean,
Big sister big, big sister strong
Don't want your friends to see you
Holding your hand
{Chorus}
Don't you want to know
What it would be like?
What's it like to look the way
You feel inside?
So what's it like to look the way
You feel inside?
So what's it like to look the way
You feel inside
Samiam is a Californian band formed in Berkeley at the end of 1988 after the breakup of Isocracy, a historic group of the Gilman club. Their first show took place in January 1989 with Christ on Parade. They released records through New Red Archives and Hopeless Records in the US and Burning Heart Records in Europe. In the mid-'90s, the band had two releases on major labels, Atlantic Records in 1994 and Ignition/Tommy Boy in 1997. This path achieved modest mainstream success; the video for Capsized gained a lot of airplay on MTV, they performed on the Jon Stewart Show in 1994 and the single, "She Found You" garnered considerable radio play in 1998. Samiam toured extensively throughout Europe, North America and Japan with Bad Religion, Green Day, The Toadies, Sense Field, Blink-182 and Millencolin.
