Novembers Doom are an American progressive death metal/death-doom band formed in 1989 in Chicago, Illinois. Their sound, characterized by dark atmospheres and melancholic melodies, is often compared to bands like Opeth, Katatonia, Novembre, and Daylight Dies. Singer Paul Kuhr alternates guttural growls with clean vocals in the style of Mikael Åkerfeldt, frontman of Opeth.
