The Birthday Massacre is a Canadian synth rock band from Toronto. Formed in 1999 under the name Imagica, they changed their name to The Birthday Massacre in 2000. The band consists of Chibi (vocals), Owen (guitar, keyboards), Rainbow (keyboards, backing vocals) and Mike (drums). Their sound is characterized by a mix of synthwave, gothic rock and darkwave, with electronic influences and catchy melodies.
