Ace Frehley (Paul Daniel Frehley) is an American guitarist and singer, best known for being the founding member and lead guitarist of Kiss during the 1970s. Frehley distinguished himself for his hard rock guitar style characterized by powerful riffs and virtuoso solos, often accompanied by special effects such as wah-wah and talk box. His stage persona, "Space Ace", was iconic with his silver space mask and futuristic clothing. Frehley left Kiss in 1982 to pursue a solo career, releasing several successful albums including "Ace Frehley" (1978) and "Frehley's Comet" (1986).
