Minor Threat sono stati un gruppo hardcore punk statunitense attivi tra il 1980 e il 1983, considerati uno dei pilastri della scena hardcore di Washington D.C.. Fondati da Ian MacKaye (voce) e Jeff Nelson (chitarra), la band ha influenzato profondamente la musica punk con un sound crudo e veloce, caratterizzato da riff aggressivi e testi politici e sociali.
