CeeLo Green, stage name of Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, is an American singer, rapper, and record producer born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1971. He began his musical career in the 1990s as a member of the hip hop group Goodie Mobb, collaborating with artists like Outkast. In 2002 he debuted as a solo artist with the album "Cee-Lo Green Is the Soul" and in 2004 released his second album, "The Lady Killer", which established him as an internationally successful artist. Green is known for his powerful and versatile voice, capable of ranging from soul to funk, passing through pop and R and B.
