Millencolin is a Swedish punk rock band formed in Örebro in October 1992 by Erik Ohlsson, Mathias Farm and Nikola Sarcevic. In 1993, drummer Fredrik Larzon joined the band. The name Millencolin comes from the skateboarding trick "melancholy". The band achieved international popularity in the 1990s with albums like "No Cigar" (1997) and "Pennybridge Pioneers" (2000), characterized by an energetic and melodic sound that blends elements of punk rock, ska and pop. Among their most well-known songs are "No Cigar", "Penguins and Polarbears" and "The Ballad of the Broken Hearted Man". Millencolin continues to be active today, releasing new albums and performing at music festivals worldwide.
