Pegazus are a heavy metal band from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in late 1993 by guitarist Johnny Stoj, the band gained international attention in 1998 after signing with Nuclear Blast Records. Their second album, *Wings of Destiny*, released on May 25, 1998, was a major success, quickly making them a favorite among European heavy metal fans.
