Eugenio Bennato è un cantautore, musicista e compositore italiano nato a Napoli nel 1946. Considerato uno dei pilastri della musica popolare italiana, ha intrapreso una carriera musicale di grande successo negli anni '70 e '80, caratterizzata da testi poetici e melodie originali che hanno saputo conquistare un pubblico vasto e appassionato. Bennato è noto per la sua vena cantautoriale introspettiva e per l'uso innovativo degli strumenti musicali, tra cui il mandolino, la chitarra acustica e il pianoforte.
