The Raimundos are a Brazilian punk rock band active since 1987. Their name, "Raimundos", plural of "Raimundo" (which means "Ramon" in Spanish), is an homage to the Ramones, from whom they draw musical inspiration. The band achieved great popularity in the 1990s with their energetic sound and ironic and satirical songs that often address social and political issues. Among their most famous tracks are "O Que É Que Você Quer?", "A Volta da Raposa" and "Eu Só Quero Ser Feliz". The Raimundos have contributed to spreading punk rock culture in Brazil, influencing several generations of musicians.
