Floetry is an English R and B duo formed in 1997 by Marsha Ambrosius (known as "the Songstress") and Natalie Stewart (known as "the Floacist"). The group recorded two studio albums, one live album, and sold over 800,000 records worldwide. Initially performing in and around London, Ambrosius and Stewart wrote songs and played local shows. Their musical style is characterized by enveloping melodies, introspective lyrics, and a refined soul atmosphere. Among Floetry's most representative tracks are "Say Yes", "Ghetto Love" and "1st of Many". Their debut album, "Floetic", was a major success in 2002, solidifying their position in the contemporary R and B world.
