Mortician is an American death metal and grindcore band formed in Yonkers, New York, in 1989. Considered one of the most influential bands in the genre, Mortician are known for their brutal and fast music, characterized by distorted riffs, frantic drumming, and guttural growls. Their lyrics often explore macabre themes such as death, horror, and Satanism, reflecting the influence of horror films on their work.
