I want to build a bigger fence
It seems only common sense
Gotta keep the good ones in the fold
And every year we raise it higher
Got a little razor wire
Till we paint the whole thing white and gold
We keep building bigger fences
Building bigger fences
Building bigger fences
When we should be digging deeper wells
So I want to see your hands
I want to see your hands
I want to see your hands
Cracked and crawling through the filth
[?] broken men
Gotta keep the bad ones in the cold
Lock the gate and keep it shut
Doesn't ever make the cut
Never learn to do just what they're told
We keep building bigger fencesBuilding bigger fences
Building bigger fences
When we should be digging deeper wells
So I want to see your hands
I want to see your hands
I want to see your hands
Cracked and crawling through the filth
Don't let them out
Don't let them in
Don't let them out
Don't let them in
Don't let them out
Don't let them in
Don't let them out
Don't let
Don't let them in
Don't let them in
