Silvio Rodríguez Domínguez, nato a Havana il 29 novembre 1946, è uno dei cantautori cubani più amati e influenti di tutti i tempi. Iniziò la sua carriera negli anni '60 come membro del gruppo musicale Los Unicornios, ma presto si affermò come solista con un sound folk-rock caratterizzato da testi poetici e melodie coinvolgenti.
