Isobel Campbell is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician, born in Glasgow in 1975. Known initially as a member of Belle and Sebastian from 1996 to 2003, she collaborated with the group on albums such as "If You're Feeling Sinister" (1996) and other successes. After leaving Belle and Sebastian, Campbell embarked on a successful solo career, releasing albums like "The Ballad of Isobel" (2004), "The Nearness of You" (2006) and "The White Horses" (2013).
