Subseven è una rock band cristiana formatasi nel 1999 nell'Oklahoma occidentale. Attiva per circa sei anni, ha suonato principalmente nel Midwest come gruppo indipendente, pubblicando un album e un EP che hanno conquistato un seguito locale di appassionati. Nel 2003, la band ha firmato con Flicker Records e poco dopo ha rilasciato l'EP omonimo *subseven*. Un anno più tardi è uscito il loro ultimo album in studio, *Free to Conquer*. La formazione originale comprendeva Wesley Fite, Clint McManaman, Reed Corbin, Caleb Wilkerson e Jake Sullivan. Subseven si è sciolta nel dicembre 2005, con i membri che hanno affermato di aver sentito la chiamata divina a percorrere nuove strade musicali. Dopo lo scioglimento, ogni membro ha intrapreso progetti musicali diversi, sia in gruppi che come artisti solisti.
