Dark Tranquillity è una band svedese di melodic death metal formatasi a Gothenburg nel 1989. I membri fondatori sono il vocalist Anders Friden, i chitarristi Niklas Sundin e Mikael Stanne, il bassista Martin Henriksson e il batterista Anders Jivarp.
