Anorexia Nervosa is a French symphonic black metal band from Limoges. Formed in 1995, the group started as an industrial metal act before evolving into a darker and more orchestral sound. Known for incorporating classical and orchestral elements into their black metal music, creating an epic and atmospheric soundscape. Their style has influenced many other bands in the symphonic black metal genre. In 2005, the band disbanded due to the withdrawal of vocalist RMS Hreidmarr.
