I don't know how they heard the scream
but I'm sure now that it was not the wind.
I saw their faces turning white.
I saw their faces turning grey,
and then their souls faded away...
What am I gonna do ?
There is no time to loose,
I can't wait in vain
these shapes from your hands
from your hand, from your hands.
I can't listen to the call of the banshees by my side
I can't listen to the call that my friends are trying to hide
I saw their faces turning white
their eyes whose look'll never meet mine.
I saw their faces turning grey
and then their souls faded away.
I saw their faces turning white
The scream, the wind, the grace of life.
I saw their faces turning grey
don't take away from me.
Because every step I take
I take it for you.
And every move I make
I make it for you.
So don't fail me ! Don't fail me...
Marc Seberg is a French musical group formed in the early 1980s. The group, composed of Philippe Pascal (vocals) and Anzia (guitar), was known for having been part of the band Marquis de Sade before forming Marc Seberg. The two musicians had already gained some notoriety in France thanks to the success of Marquis de Sade at the end of the 1970s. Marc Seberg released several albums throughout the 1980s, characterized by a post-punk sound with influences from new wave and progressive rock. Among the most representative songs are "La Nuit", "Le Temps des Fous" and "L'Amour est Mort". The band contributed to defining the French musical landscape of the 1980s, although it did not achieve the same popularity as Marquis de Sade.
