Buried beneath the statue, the answer hides
Enduring throughout the ages
The transmitter lies
Once the chambers open the signal will be sent
To another world... far beyond the stars
Dont open til doomsday
Destructions not far away
Dont open til doomsday
You might not like what you find
Dont open til doomsday
Destructions not far away
Dont open til doomsday
You might not like what you find inside
We were warned of this coming so long ago
Immortal secrets... man shouldnt know
Entering a realm where we just dont belong
We called them and theyre coming
Dont open til doomsday
Destructions not far away
Dont open til doomsday
You might not like what you find inside
Dont open til doomsday
(inside) destructions not far away
(inside) dont open til doomsday
You might not like what you find
You might not like what you find inside
The Misfits are an American hardcore punk band formed in Lodi, New Jersey in 1977 by Glenn Danzig. Known for their use of horror themes and a dark gothic look, they helped create the horror-punk subgenre. After several lineup changes and stylistic experiments, they released their debut album *Walk Among Us* in 1982. The album, although not commercially successful, became an underground punk classic and a landmark for alternative music. The Misfits are also known for their chaotic and exciting live shows. However, Danzig became dissatisfied with the band and left in 1983 after the release of *Earth A.D.* Some of their most representative songs include: *Walk Among Us*, *Last Caress*, *Horror Business*.
