Atomship was an American rock band formed in 2002 as Watership Down. The group consisted of Chad Kent (drums), Nathan Slade (guitar) and Derek Pardoe (bass and vocals). In 2004, after changing their name to Atomship, they released their debut album *The Crash of '47*, with Joey Culver on vocals replacing Pardoe, who was unable to participate in the recordings due to personal issues.
