Merrick E Petross sono due giovani artisti italiani che hanno collaborato per il singolo "Dream". Merrick, pseudonimo di Manuel De Persio, è nato a Roma nel 1998. Cresciuto in un ambiente musicale grazie al padre produttore, ha iniziato a studiare la batteria all'età di dieci anni e ha partecipato a diverse band sperimentando diversi generi musicali. Dopo un periodo negli Stati Uniti, Merrick si dedica alla produzione musicale e al canto, collaborando con artisti come Delta per il singolo "Come stai". Nel 2022 esce "Dream" in collaborazione con Petross. Petross, vero nome Antonio Petrosemolo, è nato a Kingston (Giamaica) nel 2003 da padre italiano e madre giamaicana, cresciuto a Roma. Influenzato dal reggae del padre Claudio Petrosemolo (Clava), vocalist di One Love Hi Powa, Petross si avvicina al rap e alla trap nel 2016. Inizia a scrivere testi e collaborare con produttori italiani come Delta e Merrick. Nel 2019 pubblica il suo primo singolo "Fam", seguito dal doppio singolo "Sogni/Sotto la moon" prodotto da Delta e Terron Fabio.
