Merrick E Petross are two young Italian artists who have collaborated for the single "Dream". Merrick, whose real name is Manuel De Persio, was born in Rome in 1998. Growing up in a musical environment thanks to his father, a music producer, he started studying drums at the age of ten and participated in several bands, experimenting with different genres. After a period in the United States, Merrick dedicates himself to music production and singing, collaborating with artists like Delta for the single "Come stai". In 2022, "Dream" is released in collaboration with Petross. Petross, whose real name is Antonio Petrosemolo, was born in Kingston (Jamaica) in 2003 to an Italian father and a Jamaican mother, raised in Rome. Influenced by the reggae of his father Claudio Petrosemolo (Clava), vocalist of the international sound system One Love Hi Powa, Petross approaches rap and trap in 2016. He begins writing lyrics and collaborating with Italian producers like Delta and Merrick. In 2019, he releases his first single "Fam", followed by the double single "Sogni/Sotto la moon" produced by Delta and Terron Fabio.
