Axel Fernando Costa (Rafael Calzada, Buenos Aires, 1977) è un cantante e pianista argentino di musica pop latino. Iniziò a studiare pianoforte all'età di otto anni al Conservatorio Julián Aguirre di Buenos Aires. Dopo aver interrotto gli studi musicali per concentrarsi sugli studi scolastici, riprese il percorso musicale a diciassette anni. Il suo debutto nel mondo dello spettacolo avvenne in una telenovela televisiva dove interpretava un cameriere e pianista di un bar. Successivamente si esibì in locali turistici durante l'estate argentina. Nel 1998 iniziò a lavorare come giornalista musicale per un programma televisivo, intervistando artisti come Julio Iglesias. La sua passione per la musica lo portò a firmare con Sony Music Argentina nel 1999, pubblicando il suo primo album intitolato “La clave para conquistarte”. Nel corso della sua carriera ha pubblicato altri album di successo come “Mi forma de amar” (2001), “Amo” (2003) e “Hoy” (2005). Quest'ultimo album, con temi legati all'amore e al disamore, superò le vendite di platino in Argentina. Nel 2007 fu membro della giuria internazionale del Festival de Viña del Mar. Nel 2008 pubblicò l'album “Universo”, che includeva il singolo “Verte Reir” che raggiunse la prima posizione nelle classifiche argentine.
