Ariel Rot (born Ariel Rotenberg Gutkin in Buenos Aires on April 19, 1960) is an Argentine musician known for his career as a singer-songwriter and guitarist. He began his musical activity in the 1980s with the Argentine rock band Los Violadores, quickly becoming one of the pillars of the Latin American punk-rock movement. After leaving Los Violadores in 1987, Rot embarked on a successful solo career, releasing numerous albums and collaborating with artists such as Andrés Calamaro and Joaquín Sabina.
