Rik Emmett (nato Richard Gordon Emmett) è un chitarrista e cantante canadese di fama internazionale, noto soprattutto per essere stato il fondatore e leader del gruppo rock canadese Triumph. Emmett ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '70, formando Triumph con i musicisti Gil Moore e Mike Levine. Il trio ha raggiunto il successo mondiale negli anni '80 con album come "Allied Forces" (1984) e "Never Surrender" (1985), che hanno generato successi radiofonici come "Magic Power", "Fight the Good Fight" e "Hold On To Love".
