Necrodeath was an Italian thrash/black metal band active from 1984 to 2003. Founded in Genoa by Peso (drums) and Claudio (guitar), the group underwent several lineup changes throughout its career. Considered one of the pioneers of black metal in Italy, Necrodeath released seven studio albums, including the acclaimed "Into the Macabre" (1990). Their sound is characterized by aggressive and fast sonorities, influenced by American thrash metal and the European black metal scene. Among their most representative tracks are "The Darkest Hour", "Bloodlust" and "Necrodeath Symphony". In 2003, the band officially disbanded.
