Periphery v: djent is not a genre

2023

Everything is fine!

I saw all the flaws
Felt all the wrongs
Bowing down
Pedestal with no god
Owing to myself, but a fraud
Always a hazard in recall
Not just for the show
Not a dead ego
I'm still binging all the lows
Binging all the lows

Sunny day, but I can't shake this feeling
Never mind what others fucking say
Am I the monster in the mirror, oh
When the darkest clouds hang overhead?

Fucking coward
Do you lack the confidence?
Coward
I'll bleed and repent
Yeah

Guilty, guilty cunt
Guilty, guilty, guilty cunt
Guilty, guilty faker
Guilty, guilty cunt
Guilty, guilty, guilty cunt
Guilty, guilty faker

Blind lead the blind
Eye for an eye
Why can't we fall in line
With the status high?
Yeah

Hide in the jail as we cower
Hands are bound
Malicious sound
Holding the profound
Awake on my own
Wilting, dead in the flower
Garden drowned by the showers

Sunny day, but I can't shake this feeling
Never mind what others fucking say
Am I the monster in the mirror, oh
When the darkest clouds hang overhead?

You coward
How we cower
Our body is not a haven, it's a prison
Our body is not a haven, it's a prison
This body is not a sanctuary
Our body is not a haven, it's a fucking prison

This body is not a sanctuary
This mirror, shattered image of me
This body is not a sanctuary
This mirror, shattered vision of me

Fuck your sanctuary
Fuck your haven
Fuck your sanctuary

Fuck your sanctuary
Fuck your haven
Fuck your sanctuary

Thank you because you correct this lyrics
