I used to lie
Enough to get by
I couldn't keep up with it
Third glass of wine
Hell of a life
Can you be my comeback hità
I know my internet friends
They don't make sense in the end
I can't even hold their hand
Went off and you got me blocked
I think I'm callin' the cops
I probably should throw my phone away
Bad vibes, they just won't quit
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live
I tried, can't handle it
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live
Smoking sour diesel used to be illegal
Now I overdo it just to forget people, woah-oh
Bad vibes, they just won't quit
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live
Damaged my brain
No one left to blame
Reach out and touch my faith
Sweet to the taste
You know the thrill's in the chase
We live in a dangerous place
To all my internet friends
You don't make sense in the end
I sign off then lay in bed
It's late, so we never talk
Break in and you'd call the cops
I probably should throw my phone away
Bad vibes, they just won't quit
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live
I tried, can't handle it
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live
Smoking sour diesel used to be illegal
Now I overdo it just to forget people, woah-oh
Bad vibes, they just won't quit
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live
Look to all the positives
I'm lookin' desperate 'cause I can't get through to you
Hold on, damn, it's obvious
Everything is killing me
Everything is killing me now
Bad vibes, they just won't quit
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live (I just gotta live)
I tried, can't handle it
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live (I just gotta live)
Smoking sour diesel used to be illegal
Now I overdo it just to forget people, woah-oh
Bad vibes, they just won't quit
I know everything is killing me, I just gotta live
The lyrics EVERYTHING IS KILLING ME of NEON TREES is also present in the album I can feel you forgetting me (2020)
Altri brani rappresentativi del gruppo includono "Everybody Talks", "Sleeping With a Friend" e "Love in the 21st Century". Neon Trees sono noti per i loro concerti energici e coinvolgenti, dove Glenn dimostra una presenza scenica magnetica.
