Don't think sorry's easily said
Don't try turning tables instead
You've taken lots of chances before
But I ain't gonna give any more
Don't ask me
That's how it goes
'Cause part of me knows what you're thinking...
Don't say words you're gonna regret
Don't let the fire rush to your head
I've heard the accusaation before
And I ain't gonna take any more
Believe me
The sun in your eyes
Made some of the lies worth believing
CHORUS
I am the eye in the sky
Looking at you
I can read your mind
Iam the maker of rules
Dealing with fools
I can cheat you blind
And I don't need to see any more
To know that I can read your mind, I can read your mind
Don't leave false illusions behind
Don't cry 'cause I ain't changing my mind
Soo find another fool like before
'Cause I ain't gonna live anymore believing
Some of the lies while all of the signs are deceiving
CHORUS
The Alan Parsons Project is a British musical group formed in London in 1974 by Alan Parsons, an internationally renowned sound engineer, and Eric Woolfson, a composer and manager. The idea was to create an innovative music project that combined progressive, rock, and classical elements, with the orchestra as a central element. The lineup included session musicians and guest vocalists, including Lenny Zakatek, David Paton, Chris Rainbow, and Colin Blunstone. Woolfson mainly handled the composition of vocal tracks, while Parsons focused on production and instrumental compositions. Among their most notable albums are *Tales of Mystery and Imagination* (1976), inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe, *Pyramid* (1975), and *Eye in the Sky* (1977). The group achieved international success in the 1970s and 1980s with songs like "Sirius", "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You", and "Time Away". After the project ended in 1982, Parsons and Woolfson continued to work independently. Woolfson died in 2009.
