Which one will it be today?
The one that sits patiently under penalty from past raptures with endless scriptures written of regret-filled prophecies
Or the one who lives with no leader
Aimlessly passing the time between sleep
Slowly blurring the lines
Between awake and dreaming
Unrighteous and alive
Draw your weapon, just draw your weapon
Just draw your weapon
Before I draw mine!
What have I done to myself today?
Did I not learn my lesson or count my blessings?
I sing my sorrows once again
I made my bed and I'll lie in it
Draw, draw your weapon
Draw, draw your weapon
Draw, draw your weapon
Before I draw mine
Now that I know I cannot ever turn my back on you
I find myself thinking in spirals revealing dysfunction of what I always knew
Which one will it be today?
Who will win the draw this day?
The timeless battle has begun
Take no chances, draw my gun
Now that I know that you won't turn your back on me
I find myself digging deeper further down the hole I'll one day come to know
Draw, draw your weapon
Before I draw mine
