Sinéad Marie Bernadette O'Connor (Dublin, December 8, 1966 – London, July 26, 2023) was an Irish singer-songwriter of international fame. Known for her powerful voice and musical style that blended elements of pop, rock, folk, and traditional Irish music, O'Connor reached the peak of popularity in the 1990s with albums like "The Lion and the Cobra" (1987) and "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got" (1990).
