Demis Roussos (Artemios Ventouris-Roussos; Alexandria, Egypt, June 15, 1946 – Athens, January 25, 2015) was a Greek singer and bassist. Born to Greek parents who emigrated to Egypt, Demis began his musical career in the 1960s as a member of the group Aphrodite's Child, with whom he achieved international success thanks to the concept album *It's Five O'Clock*.
