Blaqk Audio is an electronic music duo formed in 2006 by Davey Havok and Jade Puget, the vocalist and guitarist of the rock band AFI, respectively. The project, signed to Interscope Records, debuted with the album "CexCells" on August 14, 2007, which reached number 18 on the Billboard 200 chart. Blaqk Audio's sound is characterized by a blend of synthwave, industrial and darkwave, influenced by 1980s electronic music. In addition to "CexCells", the duo has released two other albums: "Beat" (2010) and "The Black Sea" (2016).
