Tazenda is an Italian folk-rock band formed in Cagliari, Sardinia, in 1988 by Andrea Parodi, Gigi Camedda and Gino Marielli. The group's music is heavily influenced by traditional Sardinian music, with lyrics often written in the Logudorese dialect of the Sardinian language rather than in Italian. Tazenda has achieved great success in Italy, selling millions of records and participating in numerous music festivals. Some of their most famous songs include "A su nuraxi", "Sa domu" and "Tundu tundu". The album "Sardinia Rock" (1997) is considered one of their most important works.
