Mark Arturo Tremonti is an American guitarist and singer born in New York in 1974. Known for his powerful and melodic guitar style, Tremonti achieved international fame as a founding member of Alter Bridge and Creed. After contributing to two Creed albums (My Own Prison, Human Clay), he collaborated with Scott Stapp to form Alter Bridge in 2004.
