Zeni Geva is a Japanese noise rock band without bass, formed by vocalist and guitarist KK Null and drummer Tatsuya Yoshida. Active since 1987, they are considered one of the most influential noise rock bands, with a sound characterized by distorted riffs, frenetic percussion and guttural vocals. The band has released numerous albums and EPs, including "The First Album" (1989), "Zeni Geva" (1990) and "Live at CBGB's" (1992). Zeni Geva was also one of the first bands to incorporate elements of electronic music into noise rock. KK Null, besides his work with Zeni Geva, has collaborated with other underground artists such as Merzbow and Hijokaidan. Tatsuya Yoshida is known for his innovative drumming technique and has played in several other noise bands, including Boredoms and Ruins.
