Single Gun Theory is an Australian band made up of Jacqui Hunt (vocals) Pete Rivett-Carnac and Kath Power (samplers/keyboards). Active since 1987, their sound combines elements of downtempo electronic dance music with programmed beats and synthesizers, to which are added the introspective and ethereal vocals of Hunt and dialogue samples. The group has released three internationally acclaimed studio albums, as well as the score for Samantha Lang's controversial film *The Monkey's Mask* (2000).
