Ashen Mortality was a British doom metal band formed in early 1993 by Ian Arkley (ex-Seventh Angel) and Melanie Bolton. Considered among the best known Christian doom metal bands, alongside Paramaecium, they recorded two demos and two albums, performing numerous gigs in England, the Netherlands and Germany.
