Oxmo Puccino, real name Abdoulaye Diarra, is a Malian-born French rapper. Born in Bamako in 1976, he is considered one of the pioneers of French rap. Oxmo Puccino stands out for his complex poetry and intricate rhymes, often focusing on social and political themes. His music blends elements of traditional hip hop with influences from African and jazz music. After starting to perform in the 1990s, Oxmo Puccino released his debut album, *Le Chant du Loup*, in 1998. The album was a critical and commercial success, establishing him as a key figure in the French rap scene. Throughout his career, Oxmo Puccino has collaborated with numerous French and international artists, including IAM, MC Solaar, and Kery James. Some of his most important albums include *Le Chant du Loup*, *L'Enfant de la Rue* (2001), and *La Vie en Rose* (2006). Among Oxmo Puccino's most representative tracks are «Le Petit Prince», «J'ai Vû le Soleil», «La Vie en Rose» and «L'Enfant de la Rue».
