Burning Witches is a Swiss heavy metal band formed in Brugg in 2015. The current lineup includes Laura Guldemond (vocals), Jenny 'The Witch' (guitar), Romina 'The Ripper' (bass) and Tina 'The Reaper' (drums). Their sound is characterized by a mix of classic heavy metal, power metal and NWOBHM, with influences also from thrash metal. After the release of their self-titled EP in 2016, the band released their debut album, *Burning Witches*, in 2017. The album was well-received by critics and helped to introduce the band to an international audience. In 2019, they released their second album, *The Circle Unbroken*, which further solidified their success. Burning Witches are known for their energetic live performances and their traditional approach to heavy metal.
