Don Omar, real name William Omar Landrón (Puerto Rico, February 10, 1978), is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and actor. He began singing and writing songs at age 12, feeling very close to the reggaeton style, which began to develop in Puerto Rico in the early 1990s.
