when you walk out
to the water
and you find that no one's there
grab some driftwood
drift away
as far as you can dream
there's a lighthouse
in the distance
somebody calls your name
lay your head down
dream away
and somebody calls your name
(somebody calls your name)
and you need a place to hideaway
somewhere so unknown
and you make for your escape
(you make for your escape)
as you drift and dream away...
now you've been here once before
some things will never change
it's a secret
don't tell anyone
no one will call your name
the sunlight starts to fall
into the western sky
lay your head down
dream away
and somebody calls your name
(somebody calls your name)
and you need a place to hideaway
somewhere so unknown
and you make for you escape
(you make for your escape)
as you drift and dream away
you drift and dream a...
you drift and dream away
and somebody calls your name
(somebody calls your name)
and you need a place to hideaway
somewhere so unknown
and you make for your escape
(you make for your escape)
as you drift and dream away
Student Rick was a pop punk band from South Bend, Indiana, consisting of Adam Reiter (guitar/vocals), Brett Jones (guitar/vocals), Jason Pavilanis (bass) and Zach Davis (drums). The band was primarily known for the song "Falling for You", featured on the Victory Records release *Soundtrack For A Generation*, which was also included in the video game *Aggressive Inline*. In early 2002, drummer Zach Davis broke his foot getting off stage after a Los Angeles show. "Falling for You" is often mistakenly attributed to other artists like Taking Back Sunday, Something Corporate or The Starting Line online. The band disbanded in October 2002. Adam, Jason and Zach from Student Rick have since reformed as Hello Vegas.
