Hiatus Kaiyote is an Australian neo-soul band formed in Melbourne in 2011. The quartet, consisting of Nai Palm (vocals, guitar), Paul Bender (bass), Simon Mavin (drums) and Cam Avery (keyboards, backing vocals), is known for its rich and complex sound that blends elements of jazz, funk, electronica and world music.
