My thoughts and meditations
My loudest declarations
My every inclination
I bring to you
My faith and my religion
My folly and my wisdom
My heart's many dimensions
I bring to you
Chorus:
Everything I have
You have given me
So take this life, I give it back
Make it all that it should be
My search for satisfaction
My doubts and my distractions
My words and my actions
I bring to you
My journey and my story
My failure and my glory
And all the things I've dreamed for me
I bring to you
My yesterday, my future
What's certain and what's unsure
And all that's in between
I bring to you
The seen and the unseen
I bring to you
My everything
I will bring to you
Ginny Owens is an American singer-songwriter of contemporary Christian music. Born in Jackson, Mississippi, she has been blind since the age of two. After graduating from Belmont University with a degree in Music Education, she discovered that most people were skeptical about hiring a blind music teacher. Instead, she focused on singing and songwriting and began producing CDs in 1999 with Rocketown Records, a label under Michael W. Smith. Her music has been featured on television shows such as Roswell and Felicity. Owens has also received three Dove Awards, including New Artist of the Year (2000). In January 2005, Ginny Owens started a non-profit organization called the Fingerprint Initiative. The organization has worked in conjunction with other groups, such as Compassion International, The International Justice Mission, and Habitat for Humanity. Ginny Owens has been featured on CNN to talk about the organization and their efforts to help rebuild New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.
